WELCOME!

I'm Cosmo Brown, a head girl at HOL and Hufflepuff head prefect, and this is my online home. Actually, this is mostly a place to house classes, lessons, and stuff, but it could be a fun place, too. Maybe I'll have a little HOL-life diary, maybe I'll just put random stuff, who knows? But, I most likely won't do a thing with it, 'cause I'm lame like that.

A little history of the name.
When I first joined HOL, I was kind of quiet. I didn't participate much in threads, but I did when I had something to say. At the Sett, there's an area called the Huffle Garden, which is supposed to be for your creative things. Mostly, people had poems and written stuff. But, there was nothing there saying you couldn't show off your visual art, and I had a couple things I was proud of. So, I started a thread to show off some graphics I made (like this).

But what to call it? Because this is the Harry Potter universe, I thought alliteration was the way to go. My first thought was "Cosmo's Corner," but I didn't like that. So, I went for the not-quite-alliteration Chaise. It's French, so it seemed classier or something. Plus, a chaise longue (or lounge, if you're North American) seems so luxurious, so much so that... I kinda want one for real.

And that's the story behind the name. I posted in the thread occasionally, and, because of it, I got my first Hufflepuff award. *sniff; memories* And I like the idea that I have a nice place to lounge when I'm at the Sett.

Anyway, there's not much here, and I don't know that there'll be much more here, but that's okay. Right? Right. Enjoy your stay!
