Answer the following questions. (2 points each)
1. What is a squib?
2. What courses do Squibs take to try to make up for the power they lack?
3. What does mobilis mean in Latin?
4. What Latin word does reparo come from?
5. Give an example of an animal that can possess magical qualities.
For 20 points, in essay form, please tell me about a witch or wizard from the Harry Potter series. Their full name, are they a pure-blood or half-blood, if they attended Hogwarts — which house, where they grew up, what they did for a profession and any other information we know about them. No less than 50 words, no more than 250, please.
Extra Credit 2 (30 points)
Well then, we're going to talk about Lucky Charms, but not in the normal sense. If you don't know what Lucky Charms (the cereal) is, it is a yummy toasted oat cereal with different shaped sugary marshmallows, mmmmmm goooood!
The marshmallows in question are as follows:
Pink Hearts
Orange Stars
Green Clovers
Blue Diamonds
Purple Horseshoes
These marshmallows are advertised as being magically delicious. Magical you say? Well please, for 6 points per marshmallow, please give these items magical properties. Tell me what the magical properties may be and the uses for the marshmallow in a practical sense. For example, if I had Red Balloon marshmallows, I might say it is helpful in curing someone who cannot speak up for themselves (as a balloon used for flying would require hot air to work), the person would eat a Red Balloon and suddenly would find the courage to defend themselves verbally.
