“I'm a really slow knitter
without magic.”

Assignment Two

This month, you get to make a stockinette washcloth.

Using the knitted cast on, cast on about 36 stitches. Knit 5 rows. On the 6th row, knit the first 3 stitches, purl the next 30 stitches, and knit the last 3 stitches. On the 7th row, knit all the stitches. Follow in this pattern (mostly purling on one row, knitting all of the next) for the next 38 rows, or until it is almost as long as it is wide. Knit 5 rows. Bind off. Weave in your ends.

Take a picture of your finished cloth and send it — as an attachment or a link, your choice — to [email protected], using the subject Knitting Assignment 2 - Your HOL name.

Due October 31st. Worth 30 points.
